glad that things worked out for you in the end.
Two points, aimed at you and everybody who ends up having trouble with PyCUDA:
a) don't be shy to post if you have a problem.
b) If you do post, please include the full error message and your siteconf.py.
Your issue also tells me that PyCUDA's build system could stand to be a bit
more newbie-friendly. I'll try to work towards that. I guess a bit of
documentation would already go a long way. I'll try to get that taken care of.
Next, you say that 0.93 (git) isn't working for you at all. Would you mind
posting the error you're getting?
Lastly, I'm using gcc 4.3 with CUDA 2.1 with absolutely no problem.
