You're right, it should not be a hard constraint but I wanted to have
a tutorial with the latest (stable) numpy. Feel free to update/adapt
the wiki with the two options. I haven't tested Ubuntu's numpy and I
have to admit that I don't really trust it (bad experiences in the
past).
