[PyCUDA] bad argument to internal function

I've upgraded & downgraded various bits of my system since running across that bug, and now I don't have the same configuration that I had before. I'm also not able to reproduce the bug any longer, on Mac OS X 10.6, Python 2.6.1, Numpy 1.2.1, in both {i386, x86_64} modes.
Mysterious.
