Hi there!
I wanted to create a simulation of a circulated cylinder. Since the
calculation is 2D, the cylinder is modelled as a circle. I'm using the
wing.py as example. So instead of the naca profile I created a circle
profile on my own. This base_shape will be extruded from the area, which is
created by the make_box function. But what I still don't understand so far
is, how the meshpy.geometry.GeometryBuilder.add_geometry function works and
what it's supposed to do.
Second issue is relating the rz_points variable, which I assigned to
[(1,0)], but executing the generate_extrusion function delivers a list of
empty vectors. Why is that? What should the rz_points variable look like?
Third question is about that ring_markers value. What is ring_markers? How
do I assign it. In the wing.py example a variable called wing_subdiv is
used. What does this stand for?
My script called Zylinder_Hinterkantenabloesung.py is attached to this
e-mail, so that you can have a look, what I've done so far.
Thanks
Islam
