Thank you Andreas,
Just an additionnal precision:
I made a confusion in my message yesterday. It is not the "pyrticle"
module that doesn't compile (by the way, this one has to be removed
from the excluded-subprojects file), but the "islpy" module which I
have had to include in the excluded-subprojects file). I don't known
whether this is relevant or not...
I've excluded islpy from the default build. I'm guessing you were
missing gmp development headers. Eventually, islpy will become part of
the default build (without the gmp dependency, though, so it should be
fine). For now, you're entirely fine without it.
A last point, for your information: I also tried to
build hedge on
another computer with ubuntu 11.10, python 2.7 and libboost 1.46. I
got the "INSTALL OK", but the execution of any example fails with the
following error message: "ImportError: cannot import name
make_common_subexpression" (see attachment for the complete
message). Not a problem for me now, but I thought it might be helpful
for you to know.
That must be related to an old version of pymbolic. Can you recheck
where it came from?
